Concern about the environment is high (83%), especially amongst people in the CEER countries of Croatia, Hungary, Russia, Romania and Slovenia.
People would like to buy brands that are good for the environment but don't believe they're as effective as competitive brands. Most also feel they are too expensive.

Most environmentally responsible brands
In 15 out of 16 countries people say Duracell is the household battery with "the best reputation on environmental issues".
Consumers in 11 countries named Toyota as being the most environmentally friendly car.
