20 product categories, ranging from breakfast cereal to vitamins, are common to each of the 16 countries. In addition, each country had the option to include up to 20 categories of their own choice (known as Local Categories).

For each category (in each country) the Trusted Brand is the brand that receives the most nominations. There's no overall winner across the 16 countries. However, in many cases, we found the same brand won across several countries. See these categories, and the brands that won across 3+ countries, in the section Multi Country Winners.

A list of the winners in each of the 20 "common" categories can be viewed in Europe Wide. To see the scores and ranking for all brands achieving 20+ votes please contact your Reader’s Digest representative.
